WAIVER and TERMS

Parent Waiver

As parent/guardian, you individually and on behalf of your child, release and agree to hold Maurelle Calligraphy and Design Studio harmless from any and all liability and hereby assume all risk and responsibility and waive any claim or cause of action of any nature whatsoever arising on behalf of your child while at the workshop.

Responsibility of Parent/Guardian Policy

Maurelle Calligraphy and Design Studio is NOT responsible for children/students before or after the hours for which they are registered for the workshop

Companions not participating in the paid workshop are not permitted to attend

Payment :

Full payment is required before the workshop to secure a seat in the class. You may be asked to provide proof of payment if registration conflicts arise

Refunds and Cancellation :

No refund is granted at any situation. Requests for moving to another workshop date is not allowed. You may, however, find someone to replace you on the same date that you registered. Please email us at inquiry@hellomaurelle.com at least 24 hours before the workshop for any changes.

Photo Policy:

By registering to the workshop, you are granting permission to Maurelle Calligraphy and Design Studio to take photographs or film video and use these images of you or your child to promote Vendor's business, including but not limited to, use on Vendor's website, blog, social media outlets and print marketing materials. Customer waives any right to payment, royalties or any other consideration for the use of the images.

Documentation Policy :

Taking photos during the workshop will be allowed while audio and visual recording is prohibited.

Age Requirement

The participant must be between 10-16 years of age.

No age limit on a parent/ guardian enrolling with their kid

Intellectual Property

Maurelle Calligraphy and Design Studio owns all copyrights in the materials provided during the workshop pursuant to copyright law of Canada, whether registered or unregistered. You may not reproduce any content for distribution or selling without the prior written permission of Maurelle Calligraphy and Design Studio.

Governing Law

The laws of British Columbia, Canada govern all matters arising out of or relating to this Agreement, including torts.

Severability

If one or more of the provisions in the Agreement is found invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any respect, the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. Any such provisions will be revised as required to make them enforceable
